The cities are crumbling. Many years of sonic attack have pierced the hearts and nerves of buildings, slowly shattering their bones. Like vampires in the sun, they are transformed to shapes of dust, ready to collapse at the slightest touch. We, the survivors, walk the streets with outmost care, letting nothing but our breaths pass our lips. Speech reduced to sign language. We have become like ghosts. Voiceless and unable to interact, we are the umbra, shadows of ourselves haunting a world that is no longer ours.
